Air conditioning systems take warm air from your home and remove the heat from it, returning cool air through the vents. A HybridGeo system does the same thing but uses pool water to absorb the heat. Our patented Heat Rejection Module makes sure your home stays cool and your pool doesn’t get too warm.  During the wintertime, the exact same HybridGeo system works in reverse, providing warm air into your home.

Our equipment is specifically designed for residential homes – it is quiet and requires only a small amount of space to be installed, usually less space than a traditional air conditioning tower. With federal rebates for 30% of installation costs, installing a system is affordable. Compared to other geothermal systems on the market, HybridGeo systems are far less expensive because they don’t require drilling costly ground loops.

Consumers are looking for ways to increase their homes’ energy efficiency in the face of rising utility costs and environmental concerns. Efficiency is especially a concern in the dry, hot climate of the southwestern US, where high temperatures can put a strain on traditional HVAC systems.

By installing a HybridGeo system, homeowners can save money year-round: up to 80 percent on home heating and up to 35 percent on cooling. Savings are even greater if the homeowner has traditionally paid for pool heating. And, since the Heat Rejection Module is made of noncorrosive materials, customers can realize utility savings for many years. The Heat Rejection Module also comes with a standard 10-year warranty.

HybridGeo’s pool geothermal systems are designed to be easily integrated with a home’s existing HVAC system. Its modular components can be installed by traditional HVAC and plumbing contractors. Unlike expensive ground loop geothermal systems that can take weeks to install, HybridGeo’s systems can be installed in as little as one to three days. This is dependent on the distance of the pool from the house, and the configuration of the existing pool.

Through the end of 2016, geothermal heat pump systems are eligible for a 30 percent federal tax credit for the total installed cost of the system. This tax credit has no upper limit. Individual states may also have incentives and credits available for energy-efficient geothermal systems. In Arizona, homeowners may be eligible to receive the Energy Equipment Property Tax Exemption.
